Meet Julie
Counselor | Office Manager
I’m a Certified Trauma Professional passionate about helping people heal from trauma and rediscover a sense of peace, confidence, and joy in their lives. I use evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy—to help clients recover from the symptoms of PTSD, including anxiety and depression. I also draw from trauma-focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients reconnect with their values and begin living in a way that feels purposeful and aligned again.
In addition to trauma work, I offer Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for clients ages 10 and older. SFBT is a short-term, highly effective approach—often completed in just 3–5 sessions—that helps clients recognize their own strengths and build on what's already working. Many clients appreciate how practical and empowering this process feels, as it focuses on creating solutions rather than staying stuck in problems.
I see clients virtually or face-to-face. Sessions are typically structured and collaborative, with opportunities to practice skills outside of therapy. I use ongoing assessments to track progress and tailor treatment so that clients can clearly see their growth. My goal is to help each person gain the tools and confidence to become their own therapist and continue thriving long after our work together ends.
