Meet Julie, APC, NCC
Therapist | Office Manager
Healing from trauma is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.
I specialize in helping adolescents and adults heal from the effects of trauma, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, shame, self-blame, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to help you move beyond surviving so you can experience greater peace, resilience, and connection.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)—two of the most effective, evidence-based treatments for trauma and PTSD. My EMDR work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), helping clients approach the parts of themselves shaped by trauma with greater compassion, curiosity, and healing.
In addition to EMDR and CPT, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build practical skills while creating meaningful, lasting change.
I believe healing happens in a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, and respected. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, abuse, assault, grief, or other overwhelming life experiences, I'll meet you where you are and help you move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and hopeful.
I practice under the clinical supervision of Amanda Marks, LPC, ensuring thoughtful collaboration and adherence to the highest standards of ethical, evidence-based care.
